The Role
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative – Picker & Packer to join our team.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding manual handling role, primarily focused on picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently. The role will also involve moving stock and pallets safely around the warehouse using the appropriate equipment and following all health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders by selecting the correct products, quantities and box sizes, checking all items carefully and securely packing orders in line with company procedures and training.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is desirable; full training will be provided where required.
- Carry out manual handling tasks in line with manual handling guidelines and safe working procedures.
- Regularly lift and move boxes and stock weighing up to 25kg.
- Safely move pallets weighing up to 900kg using the required warehouse handling equipment and following all relevant training and procedures.
- Wear the required PPE, including high-visibility clothing and secure safety footwear/boots.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised at all times.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Follow instructions and guidance provided by supervisors and management, ensuring all tasks are carried out correctly, safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, quality and attention to detail.
- Support colleagues with other warehouse duties when required.
- Take responsibility for your work area and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Be willing to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities as you develop.

- Able to Follow Direction – willing to follow instructions and guidance from supervisors and management.
