Help young people turn a house into a home and build a positive future.
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic House Project Facilitator to join our Leaving Care Service.
The House Project supports care-experienced young people as they prepare to leave care and move into homes of their own. It helps young people build confidence, independence and practical life skills, while creating a supportive community that continues beyond the age of 18.

- Support young people with budgeting, managing a home, education, training and employment
- Work closely with social care, housing, health, education and partner agencies
- Promote young people’s voices and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns
We are looking for someone with experience of working directly with young people, particularly those who may have experienced trauma or adversity. You will be compassionate, organised, resilient and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
The role is permanent, full time and 37 hours per week. Flexibility is required, including some planned evening and weekend work, to ensure young people in education or employment can participate.
- Up to 41 days’ leave, including bank holidays
- Flexible and hybrid working
- Option to purchase additional annual leave
- Local Government Pension Scheme
- Wellbeing support and employee offers
For an informal discussion, please contact Leah Hickson at [email protected].
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all our employees and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
