JOB PURPOSE:
The primary role for this position will involve working a 4 day week (every Friday off) setting up and operation of a Surface Mount Placement line, including Printer, Placement and Reflow equipment. The role may also include other production tasks as required.
MAIN DUTIES:
· Set up, operation and monitoring of SMT Placement equipment
· Setting up and verifying Solder print operation.
· Operating SMT line to meet production run rates
· Work with SMT Process Operator to minimise and resolve defects
· Perform where required general production work such as preparing items for surface mount assembly.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
· Previous SMT equipment operation experience, 2yr minimum
· IPC-A610 Certification advantageous.
· Recognition of electronic components both PTH and SMT
· Excellent attentional to detail.
· Good listener and team player.
· Methodical, enthusiastic, organised, and able to work on own initiative.
· Have a flexible approach to working arrangements. Out of hours working may be required to cover the needs of the business in certain situations.
