Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food preparation and cooking tasks as directed by chefs.
- Prepare bar snacks.
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment.
- Clean kitchen workstations, floors, and storage areas.
- Set up and lay tables for service.
- Clear and reset tables during and after service.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Follow food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Support the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant, or food service environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly processes
- Familiarity with kitchen safety standards and food hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Basic understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles
- Willingness to learn new culinary skills and adapt to evolving kitchen needs
