Overview
We are a growing bespoke joinery and manufacturing company delivering high-quality craftsmanship across residential and specialist projects, specialising in bespoke kitchens. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Joinery Workshop Manager to lead our production team and ensure the efficient delivery of exceptional joinery products.
You will lead and oversee daily operations within our busy workshop environment. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hands-on work, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for quality. As the driving force behind efficient workflow and team coordination, you will ensure that all projects are completed on time, to specification, and with the highest standards of craftsmanship. Your energetic approach will inspire your team to excel and innovate in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Supervise daily workshop activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations from start to finish
- Coordinate work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to guarantee it meets company standards and client expectations
- Manage inventory levels of tools, materials, and supplies, placing orders as needed to prevent delays.
- Signing in goods and maintaining an organised storage section.
- Manage time sheets and productivity.
- Over see orders to other suppliers including to other manufactureres when out sourcing.
Skills
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a team in a workshop or similar environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
- Clear communication skills to coordinate with team members and suppliers
- Knowledge of safety regulations relevant to workshop operations
- Ability to motivate others and foster a positive, productive workplace atmosphere

Pay: £2,300.00-£2,500.00 per month
