Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and supervising a small team of day janitors across 3 floors, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of hygiene
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure service expectations are met
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between sites
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are maintained
