About the Role
We're looking for a friendly, reliable and hard-working Front of House & Café Assistant to join our team.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One minute you could be serving customers and making coffees, the next preparing soup, putting away a delivery or helping to keep the café running smoothly.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work and isn't afraid to get stuck in wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and helping them feel part of the Annie's community
- Taking customer orders and providing excellent customer service
- Making teas, coffees and other hot drinks
- Serving ice cream
- Handling cash and card payments
- Making scones and pancakes using Annie's recipes
- Preparing homemade soup using Annie's cookbook and instructions
- Cooking and food preparation
- Receiving and putting away deliveries
- Keeping front of house clean, organised and well-stocked
- Supporting colleagues with day-to-day café duties
What We're Looking For
- A positive and friendly attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Willingness to turn your hand to a bit of everything
- Hospitality, retail or customer service experience would be an advantage, but not essential
Hours
- Monday: 12:30pm – 4:30pm
- Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Additional hours may be available from September onwards.
