In this fast-paced and energetic role, you will assist with food preparation, cooking, order assembly, cleaning, and maintaining an organised kitchen environment. Your enthusiasm, reliability, and willingness to learn will help ensure every dish meets our standards for quality, presentation, hygiene, and food safety.
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is welcome but not essential. We encourage freshers, students, and applicants looking to begin a career in hospitality to apply. Full training will be provided to suitable candidates.
All roles are paid positions, reflecting the value we place on every team member’s contribution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking a variety of menu items.
- Assemble meals accurately and efficiently according to restaurant standards.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Keep kitchen equipment, preparation areas, and workstations clean and organised.
- Follow stock rotation procedures and inform supervisors when supplies are running low.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Work closely with front-of-house team members to ensure orders are prepared and delivered on time.
- Follow restaurant policies, procedures, recipes, portion controls, and health and safety regulations.
- Complete cleaning and closing duties as required.
- Take part in training and learn new kitchen skills and responsibilities.
Skills and Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required.
- Freshers and applicants without previous restaurant experience are welcome to apply.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and food safety procedures.
- Ability to work quickly and calmly in a busy environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible approach to work.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene is helpful, although training will be provided.
- Flexibility to support different areas of restaurant operations when required.
