Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and operational home for our elderly residents. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong practical skills to take on day to day maintenance of the care home.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs
- Undertake regular audits to ensure safe operations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Plumbing, electrical, joinery or general handyman skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify problems and recommend solutions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical or plumbing fields are preferred but not essential.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
