Day Centre Support Worker – OMAS
Locations: Lymm & Sale
Hours: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Part-time – 3 days per week
Starting: Mid-September 2026
Pay: £13.00–£14.00 per hour, depending on experience
OMAS is a friendly and welcoming day activity centre supporting older people and adults with learning disabilities.
We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team across our Lymm and Sale locations.
Your role will include:
- Supporting people to enjoy activities, games, music, crafts and gentle exercise
- Encouraging independence, choice and social interaction
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting individuals according to their needs
- Helping with meals and refreshments
- Supporting community outings and activities
- Assisting the Activity Coordinator with the daily programme
- Helping maintain a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment
- Providing personal care where required
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in care, learning disabilities, elderly care or day services
- Is kind, patient and approachable
- Enjoys working with people and encouraging participation
- Is reliable and able to work as part of a small team
- Can work across Lymm and Sale
- Has a full UK driving licence – preferred
Relevant care qualifications are desirable, but the right attitude and experience are equally important.
An appropriate DBS check will be required.

Hours: Approximately 21 hours per week
