Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth operation of the café. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the shift.
- Assist customers with their orders in a friendly and efficient manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change.
- Keep the work area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Support team members during peak hours by assisting with food serving.
Qualifications
- Previous Barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members.

Pay: £12.71-£14.71 per hour
