Summary
We are seeking a Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join our team in Stallingborough. This vital role involves transporting goods across the UK during nighttime hours, ensuring timely deliveries that support our company's mission of dependable service.
Trunking will be to the same place each evening done on a 3 shift rota.

Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently during night shifts.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Manage loading and unloading procedures with care.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.
- Qualifications
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
- Over 25 years old for insurance reasons
- Minimum of 1 years class 1 experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving and trunking operations.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections.
- Good communication skills.
- Prior experience with flatbed trailers is advantageous.
- A clean driving record is preferred.
