Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Garden Centre and Nursery Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role, working across the Shop, Garden Centre and Nursery, playing a vital role in maintaining high standards of plants and an attractive shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness to learn and a can-do attitude.
Shifts
Mondays - Thursdays 9am - 5.30pm
Every other weekend Saturdays 9am - 5.30pm and Sundays 10am - 4pm
Duties
- Maintaining high standards of plant care, including watering, general maintenance and planting.
- Engage in heavy lifting when moving plants, soil, and other materials as necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the Garden Centre and Nursery area
- Assisting on tills as required.
- Stock replenishment and movement according to seasonal demand.
- Involved in PYO, e.g. Pumpkins, Sunflowers and Christmas Trees.
Experience
- No previous experience is required, just a can-do attitude.
- The ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required.
This is a full-time role, including weekend work.
