Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages in a timely manner to designated locations. If you have experience in commercial driving and enjoy working independently, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicles to deliver goods to customers or other businesses
- Load and unload items from the company supplied delivery vehicle
- Conduct inspections of the company supplied vehicle
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays, issues, or changes in the delivery schedule
- Follow traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Assist with warehouse duties when not on delivery routes
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Ability to drive vans and perform heavy lifting when required
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
