The Less Group is a fast-growing, multi-disciplined cleaning and restoration specialist. Across our four divisions - Floorless, Traceless, Spotless and Wasteless, we cover everything from routine commercial cleaning to complex and sensitive domestic works.
Our services span flooring restoration and non-slip treatments, biohazard and trauma cleaning - hoarder and clearance, after-death cleaning, and fire and smoke damage restoration, alongside large scale commercial cleans from student accommodation turn-over to sparkle cleans. We’re seeking a Account Manager to help us thrive further and grow our business. As Account, you'll play a key role across sales, customer management and operational support - helping to drive new business while keeping and improving our processes, compliance and reporting running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and convert incoming sales enquiries (reactive / inbound)
- Manage and nurture customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- Carry out hard sales / proactive business development to win new accounts
- Handle day-to-day administration relating to the sales and job process
- Prepare and issue accurate invoicing and manage payment reminders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Uphold health and safety standards across all jobs and client sites
- Complete and track waste transfer notes in line with regulatory requirements
- Maintain thorough post-job reporting and record keeping
- Liaise with technicians on the ground to ensure smooth job delivery
- Carry out job planning and site surveys where required
- Requirements
- Relevant experience within the service industry.
- Confident, proactive approach to both reactive and outbound sales
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage admin, invoicing and reporting accurately
- Good working knowledge of compliance and health & safety practices
- Comfortable liaising with technicians and coordinating job planning / surveys
- Full, valid UK driving licence essential
- Able to work on-call to cover incoming sales at least 1 weekend a month plus a weeknight each week.
