Shift Pattern: 1 day on, 2 days off (includes a sleep-in on your working day)

Your Role
As a Residential Children's Support Worker, you'll work as part of a dedicated team providing high-quality care and support to children and young people.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing safe, consistent, and nurturing care.
- Supporting young people with their daily routines.
- Encouraging education, hobbies, independence, and life skills.
- Building positive, trusting relationships.
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and promoting positive behaviour.
- Transporting young people to school, appointments, family contact, and activities.
- Recording daily notes and maintaining accurate records.
- Working closely with colleagues and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for each young person.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are caring, resilient, reliable, and passionate about supporting children and young people.
Essential:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Aged 21 or over
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, flexible attitude
- Willingness to work the 1 on, 2 off shift pattern with sleep-ins
Desirable:
- Experience working in residential childcare, education, health & social care, youth work, or a similar support role.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
