Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to service users
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals, adhering to strict protocols.
- Record observations and report any changes in health or behaviour promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery.
- Drive between different care settings or clients’ homes as required, ensuring timely attendance at appointments.
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of care plans and procedures related to health and social care.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between locations.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and empathy towards clients’ needs.
Pay: £24,420.00-£34,787.22 per year
