Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our culinary team at Modern Plant Based Restaurant, Land. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of culinary techniques. As Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality and standard. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with fellow kitchen staff to deliver exceptional meals to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and mixing.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during food preparation and cooking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Participate in menu planning and development as needed.
- Support the Head Chef in maintaining high culinary standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and meal preparation methods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Four day working week - Wednesday to Saturday.
Three days off - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
