About This Role
We are building a dedicated care team to support a friendly and engaging gentleman as he prepares to transition from a rehabilitation setting back to his own home in Walkden.
He has a great love of music, particularly blues, jazz, and rock, and is a keen Manchester City supporter. He enjoys watching the news, has a strong interest in politics and current affairs, and values meaningful conversation.
He is very much looking forward to resuming an active life within his community with the support of his dedicated care team, including visiting some of his favourite local places.
We are recruiting for a live-in Healthcare Assistant for a rota of one week live-in, one week off. You will work closely alongside a Registered Nurse to ensure the safe management of his clinical care needs.
Your role will include supporting with personal care, safe moving and handling, and assisting with clinical interventions. You will also support both daily and night routines while encouraging and enabling him to take part in activities that are meaningful and enjoyable to him.
Candidates will need to attend training and shadowing at Southport Spinal Injury Unit to support the transition home.

Clinical Experience
Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
- Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
- Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle
