Drivers Direct Recruitment is looking to recruit HGV C2 dustcart drivers on behalf of our client to join their team in Croydon and the surrounding area.
Newly passed C2 drivers are welcome!
Hours of work:
- 5am - 2pm AMS
- 1300 - 2100 -PMS
- Monday to Friday
- weekend work is also available
- ASAP Start
- Temp to perm
Salary:
The Role:
- Driving a HGV 2 vehicle
- Going down residential roads to collect bins
- 3 man crew
- Driver / Loader role - this is part of the role.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
- Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
Essential Skills:
- Must hold a valid HGV2/ Cat C licence.
- Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.
- Must hold a valid Digital tacho card.
- Good communication skills.
- Good customer relations.
- Have a safe driving record.
- No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
- No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
