Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Mechanic. Full or Part Time hours available. MOT Testing license preferred but not essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles with precision and care. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our workshop meets the highest standards of safety and performance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about automotive mechanics and eager to contribute to a reputable specialist garage.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle issues using schematics, mechanical knowledge, and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine work, brake systems, suspension, and electrical components
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move engines or large parts safely
- Follow detailed repair procedures and schematics to ensure accurate work
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair progress clearly to customers
- Assist in equipment repair and routine maintenance of workshop tools and machinery
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic or similar role with strong mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices and safety protocols
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive repair are preferred
- MOT Testers Licence
