Purchasing Administration Assistant

We are looking for a well-organised, proactive and commercially aware Purchasing Assistant to join our busy Purchasing team. You will work closely with Product Managers and suppliers to ensure our products are available when customers need them, while maintaining excellent supplier relationships and supporting an efficient supply chain.
What You'll Be Doing
· Raise and manage purchase orders using our ERP system.
· Monitor supplier deliveries and proactively resolve supply issues.
· Maintain stock availability using forecasting and replenishment reports.
· Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to provide delivery updates.
· Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing and supplier information.
· Support KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
· Confident using Microsoft Excel and Office.
· Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
· SAP experience would be an advantage
· Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
· Previous purchasing, procurement or supply chain experience is desirable but not essential.

The role is expected to start Mid-September, and the hours are 8.30 – 5.00 pm, Monday-Friday with potential hybrid working.
Pay: £24,785.00-£25,000.00 per year
