Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RMN/RGN to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including acute care, long-term care, and specialized medical practices. You will be responsible for assessing residents needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for specialist dementia care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical findings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition with appropriate interventions.
- Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and wound care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in managing complex cases, including critical care and emergency situations.
- Document all patient interactions accurately.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Attending all mandatory and on going training.
Qualifications
- Current NMC pin.
- Experience in various nursing home settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Demonstrated ability to perform essential nursing skills including phlebotomy, vital signs assessment and medication administration.
- Experience working with diverse populations including individuals with disabilities or requiring specialist dementia care.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities.

Pay: £22.40 per hour
