Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch. Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to specifications and ensure accuracy in order fulfilment, using hand held scanners.
- Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before shipping.
- Maintain an organised stock area, ensuring that materials are stored correctly and accessible for picking.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve overall efficiency within the warehouse.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, with a focus on picking and packing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 25 kg).
- Familiarity with materials handling processes and quality control measures.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management.
- A proactive approach to work, demonstrating reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
