Job Specification
As a Warehouse Operative within a GMP and HACCP-certified supplements business, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of raw materials and finished products while ensuring full compliance with food safety, quality assurance and traceability standards. You will also safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklift trucks, to support efficient warehouse operations.

- Safely unload and load vehicles using a counterbalance forklift truck and other approved material handling equipment.
- Complete and maintain Goods In records, ensuring all paperwork is accurate, legible and fully traceable.
- Verify batch numbers, expiry dates and product quantities on receipt to maintain complete stock traceability.

- Transport raw materials, pallets and finished goods safely throughout the warehouse and production areas using a forklift truck where authorised.
- Store raw materials and finished products in designated locations according to warehouse procedures and allergen segregation requirements.
- Maintain strict allergen separation to prevent cross-contamination, ensuring products are stored in accordance with food safety procedures.

- Maintain accurate stock records through routine stock checks, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure all warehouse documentation is completed accurately, filed correctly and readily available for internal and external audits.
- Maintain comprehensive records in line with HACCP, GMP and company quality management procedures.
- Support warehouse inspections, customer audits and certification audits by demonstrating complete product traceability and documentation.
- Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, quality concerns and non-conformances promptly through the appropriate reporting procedures.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping to ensure a clean, organised and audit-ready warehouse environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, food safety standards, PUWER requirements and company operating procedures at all times.
