As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while serving beverages and food to our patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Assist with food preparation and meal service, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Engage with guests, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering queries.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests.
- Uphold the establishment's policies regarding responsible service of alcohol and adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience but not mandatory in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable, particularly in roles involving bar service or guest interaction.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking skills, and culinary practices will be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with both guests and team members.
