Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Tyre Fitter to join our team. This role involves providing on-site tyre fitting services, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional and efficient service. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with hand and power tools, and the physical capability for heavy lifting. Duties
- Conduct on-site tyre fitting and replacement for a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans,
- Inspect tyres for damage or wear and advise customers on suitable solutions
- Remove and replace tyres using appropriate hand and power tools
- Perform routine maintenance checks on tyres and related components
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
- Assist customers with queries related to tyre care and maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including cleaning tools and equipment after use
- Transport necessary tools and equipment to various locations as required
Experience
- Previous experience in tyre fitting at least 5 years
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to vehicle tyre systems is advantageous
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers is essential
- Experience using power tools for tyre removal and fitting tasks is desirable
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, often handling tyres weighing up to 20kg or more
- Physical fitness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods
