Alifin Foods Limited is a family owned local business operating Y0! Sushi counters (franchised) in Galashiels. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Member to join our team. As a Franchise Team Member you will play a crucial role in preparing food to exceptional standards and delivering fantastic customer service. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, maintaining food safety standards and consistently growing sales. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kiosk.
- Assist customers with menu selections and upselling items to enhance their dining experience.
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic culinary skills with an eagerness to learn new techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
