This role helps people and communities improve their health, making a real difference to wellbeing and reducing inequalities.
You’ll be part of a supportive Wellbeing Service team, working with partners across health, education and the community. Your work will help children, families and adults build healthier habits and access the right support. You’ll deliver practical activities, share clear advice and support long‑term behaviour change.
What you’ll do:
Deliver group and one‑to‑one sessions on healthy lifestyles, including nutrition and physical activity
Work in community settings, schools and outreach environments to engage local people
Provide advice, brief interventions and signposting to relevant services
Support programmes such as weight management, oral health and early years initiatives
Track progress, gather feedback and support service improvement
What we’re looking for:
Good general education, including English and maths
Experience working with individuals or groups, ideally in community settings
Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and build trust
An understanding of healthy lifestyles and behaviour change, or willingness to learn
Ability to organise your own work and adapt your approach to different needs
