Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Setter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining machinery to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality. Duties
- Prepare and set up machinery for production runs, ensuring all tools and fixtures are correctly installed.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform minor maintenance or troubleshooting on equipment.
- Operate hand tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively.
- Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and movement of parts.
- Assist with assembly processes when required, adhering to safety standards.
- Monitor machine performance during operation, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Document setup procedures and maintenance activities accurately for record keeping.
Requirements
- Forklift licence
- Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with milling, welding, assembly, and tooling is highly desirable.
- Competence in using hand tools and materials handling equipment safely.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to machine setup.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
