Duties
- Conduct detailed testing of electrical systems and components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment.
- Inspect wiring, connections, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical elements to ensure compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Document test results accurately, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings clearly to engineering teams or supervisors.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues identified during testing, recommending or implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in setting up testing environments, calibrating instruments, and maintaining testing tools for optimal performance.
- Follow strict safety protocols during all testing procedures to prevent accidents or damage.
- Collaborate with electricians and engineers to improve testing processes and ensure quality control throughout project phases.
Experience
- Proven experience working with hand tools and power tools in an electrical or technical environment.
- Strong electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring diagrams, circuit layouts, and electrical codes.
- Prior experience performing electrical tests or inspections is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance.
- Good communication skills for reporting findings clearly and working effectively within a team environment.
