Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior / Advanced Stylist (Hairdresser) to join our dynamic salon team. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for hairdressing and a flair for delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will possess advanced technical skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff. The position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a reputable salon environment while providing clients with outstanding hair and beauty services.
Duties
- Deliver a wide range of hairdressing services including colouring, cutting, styling, and specialised treatments.
- Manage the front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and client consultations.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior stylists to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Assist in store management tasks such as stock control, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage in upselling products and additional services to maximise sales opportunities.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients through personalised consultations and exceptional customer service.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hairdressing, beauty treatments, and retail products.
Skills
- Proven experience with a strong portfolio of work.
- A minimum of 2 years recent PQE (post qualification experience)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
- Upselling skills combined with a keen eye for detail to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.

Pay: £12.75-£12.90 per hour
