DAMM Environmental is looking to recruit experienced Jet Vac Driver/Operator to support our drainage maintenance, cleaning, and emergency response works across Scotland
Based in our own building in Hillington, Glasgow, DAMM Environmental now employs over one hundred people and runs a high-tech fleet of over 50 vehicles. With repeat contracts from both Local Authorities and Blue Chip firms, we have quickly grown to become a company with a multi-million pound turnover, but our roots have not changed.

The Role
The Jet Vac Operator will be responsible for operating high-pressure water jetting and vacuum equipment to clear, maintain, and support drainage systems safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate jetting and vacuum tankers to clean and maintain drainage systems
- Remove blockages, debris, and waste materials from drains and sewers
- Work in accordance with DAMM Environmental procedures and health and safety standards
- Assist with emergency response works relating to drainage failures or flooding
- Carry out basic equipment checks and routine maintenance
- Liaise with supervisors and site teams to ensure works are completed efficiently
- Support CCTV survey teams where required
- Complete daily apps-based documents
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment on site
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience operating jet vac or drainage tankers preferred
- Knowledge of drainage operations and safe working practices
- Full UK driving licence essential (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to sites
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a team
