We are one of the UK’s leading retail shop fitting, refrigeration and air-conditioning installation and service providers. Having been established over 50 years, and currently employing over 120 direct employees across the country. We are currently a £40 million business alone, as well as also being part of a large national facilities management company who employ a further 1600 people across the country.
We work on a wide range of contracts which include High street stores, NHS, Education sector, Petrol Stations, Convenience Stores and Leisure Centres to name a few.
We are currently seeking a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team.
Job Role
· Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
· Diagnose and repair faults on commercial and domestic refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
· Install, service, and commission air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, heat pumps, and associated equipment.
· Conduct system inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
· Test system performance and ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
· Repair or replace defective components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, motors, valves, sensors, and electrical controls.
· Leak test refrigeration systems and carry out refrigerant recovery, charging, and handling in accordance with F-Gas regulations
