Salary: Grade 5, Scale Point 12-17
Start Date: October 2026
Contract Type: Maternity cover, approximately October 2026 to November 2027
Working Pattern: Full-time (37 hours, 39 weeks per annum)

- Experience supporting students, particularly those with SEND, to achieve their full potential.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education and meeting individual learning needs.
- Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies to support student outcomes.
- Positive, resilient and committed to making a difference for every learner.
The role:
- Support the SENDCo in leading and developing high-quality SEND provision across the academy.
- Monitor the progress of students with SEND and help coordinate effective interventions and support.
- Work with teaching staff to promote inclusive practice and effective classroom strategies.
- Liaise with parents, carers and external professionals to secure the best outcomes for students.
- Assist with SEND assessments, provision mapping, access arrangements and record keeping.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive academy culture where all students feel valued and supported.
