Duties
- Develop detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software in accordance with project specifications.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct thorough analysis of designs to identify potential issues or improvements.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures throughout the production process.
- Perform regular inspections and tests to verify product compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions clearly and accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve design or quality issues promptly.
- Assist in training team members on CAD procedures and quality control measures as required.
Experience
- Proven experience in CAD design, ideally within manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Demonstrable analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data effectively.
- Prior experience in quality assurance or quality control roles is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role is vital for ensuring that our products meet stringent safety and quality standards while supporting innovative design development through advanced CAD techniques.
Hours
7.30-4.30 Monday to Thursday
7.30 - 2pm Friday
Pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour
