TekAlloy are proud to be representing a Leading South Yorkshire based business with a prestigious history and family friendly culture, who are looking for a senior Design engineer to join their team.
Experience in Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers is essential for this.
The company is a specialist designer and manufacturer of process plant equipment who have the ability to take on both large and small scale projects to industry sectors including oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural chemical, fine chemical, utilities and nuclear.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing detailed fabrication drawings, GA’s and component lists using AutoCAD and Autodesk
- Designing pressure vessels & heat exchangers to relevant codes and standards
- Liaising with clients to develop technical requirements and specifications
- Carrying out design calculations and engineering analysis
- Preparing technical reports and project documentation
- Working closely with production & quality teams to ensure practical, compliant designs
- Supporting continual improvement on new and repeat projects
- Planning your workload to ensure on-time project delivery
Requirements
- Previous role as a Design Engineer specifically from a Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchanger background
- 3D modeling experience desirable
- Commercial awareness of this particular area of engineering
- An eye for detail and methodical working process
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt and change as projects are all bespoke.

Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
