Pub Chef /Kitchen Manager
We’re looking for a talented and dependable Pub Chef/Kitchen Manager (live in available) to join us at The Buck, a characterful village pub in the heart of Thornton-le-Dale.
Our ambition is to make The Buck the first place people think of locally when they want great food, drink and hospitality. We want to serve honest, high quality pub food that celebrates Yorkshire produce, reflects the seasons and gives people a reason to return.
Working closely with the management team, you will help to:
- Prepare and serve consistently excellent, freshly cooked pub food.
- Contribute ideas to seasonal menus, specials and events.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Manage stock carefully and help minimise waste.
- Support effective ordering, preparation and kitchen organisation.
- Deliver a smooth service during busy periods.
- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to give every customer a great experience.
