The role of a school administrator is busy, challenging, essential and extremely rewarding. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join our school office team and provide support to the headteacher. We seek a person who, whilst having a secure knowledge of administrative procedures and excellent IT skills, can also manage a wide range of tasks, whilst maintaining positive relationships with children, staff and families. Experience within a school office environment with MIS systems is desirable but not essential.
Working pattern to be discussed with the successful applicant. This will be a job- with an overlap of a day with the other member of staff.
We are looking for:
- Excellent administrative and organisational abilities, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience of working in a busy office.
- A colleague who is hardworking and willing to contribute to the whole school ethos.
Leyburn Primary School is a busy school serving Leyburn and surrounding villages. In 2017, we joined Yorkshire Collaborative Academy Trust which is a multi-academy trust consisting of 10 other primary schools dedicated to working with primary schools.
