I'm Films and TV Ltd.
We are currently seeking swing drivers for film, television, and commercial productions in Chertsey, Surrey. We are looking for HGV Class 1, HGV Class 2, 7.5-tonne, and van drivers. This opportunity is available for self-employed or limited company drivers. What Makes This Opportunity Different?
- A guaranteed minimum of five hours' pay for every swing, even if the journey takes less time.
- More than one separately paid swing may be available in the same day.
- No multi-drop deliveries, handballing, loading, or unloading.
- No requirement to enter the back of the vehicles.
- Flexible assignments on film, television, and commercial productions. For example, if a swing takes one hour, you will still receive the guaranteed five-hour payment.
-If you then move directly to another job, that is typically treated as a separate swing with another five-hour minimum payment.
Rates of Pay:
- HGV Class 1: £21.50 per hour
- HGV Class 2: £19.50 per hour
How the Work Operates:
All assignments begin in Chertsey.
A shuttle will take you to the production vehicle, follow you to the drop-off point, and either return you to the yard or take you to the next assignment.
Requirements:
- The correct driving license for the vehicle.
- A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card for goods vehicles.
- A professional, punctual, and respectful approach.
- The ability to travel reliably to Chertsey.
- Flexibility for early starts, late finishes, weekends, and short-notice assignments.
Drivers with up to six penalty points from two minor offences may still be considered, subject to insurer approval. However, serious convictions such as drink-driving, drug-driving, or driving without insurance are generally not insurable on clients' vehicles.
Self-Employed and Limited Company Support:
This opportunity is exclusively for self-employed and limited company drivers. Drivers who are not yet set up are still welcome to apply; we can explain your options and help you understand the necessary steps. We will provide more details when you meet with the Managing Director and Management Team. Drivers are responsible for their own tax, National Insurance, business administration, and seeking independent professional advice.
Driver Referral Scheme: Referrals from HGV drivers are encouraged.
