Salary: £34,000–£38,000 per year (depending on experience) + generous tips + employee discount

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the front of house operation at San Fairie Ann.
Under new ownership, we're building something special. With a growing reputation for exceptional food, warm hospitality and unforgettable private events, we're looking for someone who shares our passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.
You'll join a supportive leadership team and play an important role in the continued growth and success of an ambitious independent restaurant.
The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you'll lead the day to day front of house operation, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service while supporting the smooth delivery of our private hire events.
Working alongside our Head Chef and dedicated Events Manager, you'll help create memorable experiences for both restaurant guests and private event clients, while leading and developing a passionate front of house team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the front of house team.
- Deliver consistently high standards of service and hospitality.
- Oversee the daily running of the restaurant, ensuring the venue is always guest-ready.
- Recruit, train and support team members to help them succeed.
- Create staff rotas and manage labour efficiently.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure seamless service between the kitchen and front of house.
- Support our Events Manager in delivering exceptional private hire events.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, health & safety and compliance.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and ensure every customer leaves wanting to return.
- Drive a positive team culture and lead by example on every shift.
About You
You'll be a natural leader who enjoys developing people, thrives in a busy hospitality environment and genuinely cares about delivering memorable guest experiences.
You'll have:
- At least three years' management experience in hospitality.
- Strong restaurant service experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A positive hands-on attitude.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- A passion for exceptional customer service.
Experience with private events is an advantage but not essential.
