A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Live-in Housekeeper to join a private household on a beautiful estate near Haslemere, Surrey. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and high-quality on-site accommodation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and smooth running of the household, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work flexibly, including weekends as required.
Key Responsibilities:
· Daily housekeeping to a high standard, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organisation
· Cooking and meal preparation for the principals, with occasional informal entertaining
· Household provisioning and stock management
· Running errands and managing deliveries
· Liaising with contractors and service providers as needed
· Ensuring the home is always guest-ready
· Flexibility to support weekend routines and events
· Occasional pet care and other ad hoc duties
Candidate Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a role within a private household or estate
· Excellent housekeeping and organisational skills
· Good cooking ability and confidence preparing simple, fresh meals
· High level of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness
· Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
· Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends
· Full UK driving license, will need own car due to location of the job

· Salary approximately £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
