Responsibilities
- Operating hand tools and power tools for pruning, planting, and general maintenance tasks
- Performing routine equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
- Assisting with horticultural activities including planting, weeding, fertilising, and harvesting grapes
- Participating in regular vineyard upkeep to maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas
Skills
- Knowledge of basic horticultural principles
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other gardening implements safely and effectively
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Understanding of equipment repair and maintenance procedures is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail in maintaining vineyard standards
