Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals within their own homes in the Enfield area (EN4, N14, N21). The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and well-being for those in need of assistance. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support clients in adhering to personalised care plans tailored to their individual needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Help with medication management and basic health monitoring as required
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Skills
- Experience working within a home care environment is desirable
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them precisely
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
- Compassionate nature with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
