Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, highly organized, and able to work well under pressure. You will be responsible for providing chair-side support to our dentists, ensuring that patients are comfortable and well cared for during their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting dentists during a variety of treatment procedures
- Preparing and sterilising instruments and equipment
- Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Recording medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Reception duties
Requirements:
- Qualified Dental Nurse with a recognized certification
- Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- A caring and empathetic attitude towards patients
