Job Overview
AAT Safety are a specialist Installation, Inspection, Repair and Maintenance Company working within the Wind Industry throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to continued company growth, we require safety focused individuals to join our team of Inspection and Repair Technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- As an Inspection and Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair and maintenance of a wide range of safety and work equipment within wind turbines. This will include electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment used in both lifting and access applications
- Travel frequently to different wind farm sites, often spending nights away from home
- Use climbing techniques to carry out inspections & repairs at height
- Work with clients to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
What we're looking for
- Proven experience working with Hailo and/or Power Climber service lifts within the wind industry.
- Relevant electrical, mechanical or hydraulic qualifications
- Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in demanding site environments.
- Comfortable working at height and in varying weather conditions.
- Flexible approach to frequent travel and working away from home.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and maintain industry-required fitness standards.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary from £46,000 per annum, with regular overtime and shift bonus opportunities available. Realistic on-target earnings of up to £65,000 per annum.
