The Caledonian bar in the centre of Inverness is a spectacular former bank building that has been allowed to fade in recent years.
As a brand new addition to our group, we have big plans to transform the venue over the coming year to reposition into an all-day hybrid venue encompassing great food, coffee, music and of course, drinks.
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Deputy Manager to support the effective running of our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting the General Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Duties
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring organisational objectives are met
- Support staff in delivering high-quality services and maintaining organisational standards
- Contribute to planning, organising, and implementing programmes or activities as required
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive working environment
- Monitor performance and implement improvements where necessary
- Support recruitment, training, and development initiatives for staff members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies
- Engage with clients or stakeholders to promote organisational values and services
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably within a busy late night venue with food and music
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
Pay: From £36,000.00 per year
