Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support individuals at their own home, care home. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Assist with light domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
- Support clients with outings or appointments, including driving when necessary
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Skills
- Driving licence is desirable for supporting home care visits and outings
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others
- Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of care plans and adherence to health & safety regulations

The payment is between 12.21-15/ hour depending on the experience
