The role of Bar Person includes, but is not limited to, the following duties; -
Taking and preparing orders at the bar in a timely manner -
Replacing barrels in the cellar and ensuring the bar is well stocked -
Dealing with cash and card payments -
Daily cashing up of tills -
Processing payments for membership renewals and event nights -
Helping members with any requests/queries and assisting with Club game entries -
Ensuring Club rules are followed at all times -
Checking identification to verify legal age requirements -
Restricting alcohol intake in certain situations in order to prevent issues -
Food preparation, cooking and serving -
Ensuring the bar and public areas are kept clean and tidy -
Following the weekly cleaning rota for back of house areas -
Complying with all health and safety regulations -
Maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment for our members.
The role will include shift work including days, evenings, weekends and split shifts. The ideal candidate will be well presented and friendly yet professional with excellent communication skills and strive to deliver great service to our members.
Pay: £12.71-£18.67 per hour
