Refuge Children and Parenting Worker - Hunstanton
18.5hrs per week. £25,803 pro rata

Job purpose:
- To provide enhanced support to young people aged 0-18 living within our refuges through the following services:
- To develop and provide individual support and safety plans for 5–18-year-olds which is flexible, effective, supportive and confidential.
- To provide age-appropriate group sessions for 0-18-year-olds.
- To work effectively with partner agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for all children accessing the support.
- To provide individual face to face parenting advice, to the parents of children and young people who are living in Leeway Refuges
Essential Requirements:
- A relevant Children and young people’s qualification to level 3 is required, will consider applicants if currently have a level 2 and is willing to complete CACHE Level 3 Award in Childcare and Education.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with children/ young people and families.
- Ability to be creative, plan and run groups.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children
- Experience in case management and data base systems
- Full Driving licence, business insurance and theuse of a car to travel is required
